Dormitory Life: Rules and Routine

7-Day Boarding (Full-time Boarding)

As a full-time permanent boarding school in France, we offer international boarders without local families in Paris a range of weekend housing options. Parents can select the best arrangement based on their child’s age, maturity, and individual preferences.

1. Weekend Homestay: Students spend their weekends with their host families, staying from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening (after dinner) or Monday morning. During this time, they immerse themselves in the daily lives of their hosts, sharing meals and activities. Evenings and weekends are typically spent with the host family, although daytime outings may be permitted on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Students are provided with full board during their stay. Please note that housing is not included during school holidays, which include Fall, Christmas, Winter, and Spring breaks (each lasting two weeks).

Students receive half board on weekends (Breakfast and hot dinner):

  • Dinners during the weekend are organized at school on the basis of a 3-course meal to be chosen between 3 options.
  • Breakfasts are served either at the school cafeteria or at the dorms.

This accommodation arrangement is only offered to full-year students
Lunches are bought by students themselves during their free time. Unsupervised free time in Paris is arranged on Saturdays.

Unsupervised evening and night outings are not allowed.

Travel Policy

IMPORTANT: Seven-day boarding is exclusively available for students aged 15 and older. These students must demonstrate a strong academic commitment, as Sunday afternoons include mandatory study sessions at the dormitory. Additionally, students are encouraged to make the most of their weekends by exploring Paris's rich cultural and historical landmarks.

Weekly laundry service is provided to 7-day boarders.

  • Students who are interested in pursuing higher education in France and need to improve their French level up to fluency.
  • Younger students: 14-year-old students are not allowed at the dorms and are therefore required to choose full-time homestay accommodation.

The best way to immerse in the French culture and "art de vivre"!
Our host families are carefully selected and reside in Verneuil and its surrounding areas. These families open their homes to international students with the goal of fostering cross-cultural friendships. By welcoming a student into their daily lives, they provide care, share their language and culture, and treat the student as a new member of their family.

Students are expected to immerse themselves fully in their host family’s lifestyle, spending evenings and weekends together. Daytime outings may be permitted on Saturdays. Full-time host families provide accommodations from Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays and school holidays, with full board.
